Ok, not jail, but Detention.

    I actually agree with the school. Children should not be hugging on each other in school just as adults should not touch each other at work. The rule is in place for all children of all ages and although Megan may be at the age of innocence she has to follow the rule because the school should not be forced to select which students do and do not have to follow the rules.

    At the top of the school year a Code of Conduct is sent home and both parent and student sign off on it. Therefore they are held accountable, no if, and or but. The enforcement of rules equally is how children learn the consequences for their actions intentional or not.
