Spotlight on your cursor

Yep, you too can install a cute $10 piece of software on your Mac to make a spotlight follow your cursor: Mouseposé by Boinx.

It’s fabulous for software demos: people can see where the mouse is. I used it when I did the intro to podcasting session at BlogHer, and I used it this past weekend when I presented a Build A Website in a Day workshop.

What’s funny, in a “what am I, chopped liver?” sorta way, is that people invariably ask, How do you make the computer do that? The demo tool is cool. Had that reaction at BlogHer, had the reaction Saturday, and just now got an email from someone who was at BlogHer asking about that thing on your computer.

So, people, the Universe wants you to know: Boinx. Mousepose. Go get it. And you, too, can experience the magic of having your software tools upstage your demo. 😉
