I don’t waste my time pondering an America with reversals of fortune in war, even in such obvious fiction.

I do not need to understand the enemy’s mind. I only need to inflict death upon the enemy either directly or indirectly.

The terrorists and their supporters are on a one-way street. They can either surrender or we will kill them. So far we are killing them in vast numbers in contrast to our own casualties. That’s a much more interesting story and for an even better reason, it’s the truth.

heavens to murgatroyd, Don! Sounds like you’re equating the entirety of Iraq with terrorism. Speaking of fiction…

Learn to read better, Susan. If I wanted to say that everyone in Iraq was equated to terrorism, I would have done so. I’m fluent in English so please don’t presume to put words in my mouth.

I’m talking about killing an enemy exclusively. Now who the enemy is, may be a debatable issue in some circumstances and that’s fine. But when an enemy is in the sights, kill them. Kill all or as many as can be killed. I would do that. You may not. Whatever.
