Zell Miller: some loved him, some hated him. (He’s a divider, not a uniter, I guess). But the thing that freaked me out was at the beginning of his speech, where with one noun, he turned his great grandchildren into the equivalent of cherished knick-knacks.

Since I last stood in this spot, a whole new generation of the Miller Family has been born: Four great grandchildren.

Along with all the other members of our close-knit family — they are my and Shirley’s most precious possessions.

And I know that’s how you feel about your family also. [emphasis mine]

The thought is to protect the family, protect the United Sates.

    I figured that out instantly.

Sen. Zell Miller tells it like it is!

Pacifists and wimps will never understand the majority of Americans. But that’s unimportant about them. What is important is that pacifists and wimps don’t gain majority rule here in the United States.

I don’t care how much they bitch and protest or write in weblogs, etc., as long as they cannot dictate the course of American events, I’m happy and America is as safe as possible in the hands of Republicans.

God forbid the day when America has pacifists and wimps in-charge. The end of America won’t be long after that…
