Giga-pixel Bryce image

It’s of Bryce canyon, not anything having to do with Bryce the software.

Max Lyons broke the gigapixel barrier, using 196 source images (w/ digital camera), stitched together into a final image that is 40,784 x 26,800 pixels, or 1,093,011,200 total pixels (1.09 gigapixel).

You can see the composite image, but don’t worry; he’s not showing it on his site at full-rez. ; )

(see the rest of his images; he’s been to Scotland, Four Corners, Colorado Plateau, Utah, Canadian Rockies and more. Just the pages with thumnails are scrumptious!)
